Ascent Trip ReportSilver-Abiel-Tinkham. We got slightly off the trail from Silver to Abiel, so a little bit of bushwacking, but it went. The trail is slightly hard to follow near the South Silver saddle, but easy to get back on track. Abiel then has a well-defined bootpath to the summit with a few sections of class 2 to low class 3 rock (subjective of course). Flat, forested summit with views of Silver. Summit registers on all three peaks. |
