Ascent Trip ReportParked at Molly Stark State Park ($4.00, but I arrived before office was open and paid after). Hiked up to the fire tower from the trailhead nearest the office, which was .8 mile up. Easy to follow blue rectangle marks. Tower in great shape but there is no fencing so use caution, especially if you take children or pets up. Great views from the tower. Found one geodetic marker directly in front of the tower. Took the trail back down to the "junction" where there's a sign to the campsite "loop" (turn left). Some nice flat spots where you can jog. This trail was muddier than the other and comes out in the campsite very near the bathrooms and office. (It's the other trailhead). The loop is about 1.7 miles, about the same distance if do an out and back from either trailhead. There are many campsites, a very clean bathroom and showers near the office.
