Ascent Trip ReportApproached from the parking lot at the northern terminus of the Beaver Brook Trail (at Route 130 west of Hollis center). The Beaver Brook Trail merges into Cow Lane, continuing generally south. Just before Maple Hill Farm (headquarters for the Beaver Brook Association), at teh compost display, I headed west uphill through tall grass and other vegetation, across a sloping meadow, and into the woods. Bearing south, I found the high ground near a stone wall at the edge of the woods. Coontinuing south, I crossed another grassy area and met Ridge Road. Turned left on the road and left into the driveway at Maple Hill Farm. The return was along Cow Lane and Beaver Brook Trail as on the way down. Total time was about an hour.
