Ascent of Middle Teton on 2018-07-02Date: | Monday, July 2, 2018 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Middle Teton | Location: | USA-Wyoming | Elevation: | 12804 ft / 3902 m |
Ascent Trip ReportStarted at 0420 with a headlamp as the trail begins in a heavy wooded area. Encountered deer and various non-threatening wildlife. Made the summit around 1515, and got back to the trail head at 2120. I'm a slow, meticulous, novice/intermediate climber. Some might choose to climb this alone like I did. However, after a 150' uncontrolled slide, I would recommend a climbing buddy. |
