|Date:||Sunday, July 29, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||7794 ft / 2375 m|
Ascent Trip ReportClimbed with my son Cole the day after Three Fingered Jack. I was still a little sore. This one less exposed/serious on the approach than Three Fingered Jack. Did the climb in 3 pitches - onsight led all.
Very crappy rock on the first pitch and not much gear through the chimney but easy. We did 4 rappels. Just looped rope around block for 3rd rappel as only had a 60 meter rope. Rope pulled but hard.
Had great weather.
Weird when we got back down to the PCT trail somebody had knocked down the big cairn marking the start of the climbers trail. Why? We rebuilt it.
