Ascent Trip Report

we came in on skyline road from the north: that road is seriously rutted, i was thankful for the 12" clearance on my SUV. we left going south, that was much better... but also a longer drive. any SUV should be able to make it in from the south.

hike was short and steep: numerous animal trails, and a few human bootprints. we bumped into a forest worker and his girlfriend on the way down, and he explained they had been tagging trees to be cut.
