Went from peakbagger in youth (worked in Glacier Park) to technical climber. After shoulder surgery in 2007 went back to peakbagging and moderate technical climbs. Love ridges with big exposure.
Like to combine trips where rock climb one day and hike a mountain the next day. I prefer to tackle a mountain via a "classic" or more committing line when circumstances allow so perhaps that makes me more of a technical climber at heart. Classic climbs are classic for a good reason. But enjoy every hike. My technical climbs are listed on mountainproject.com so I guess I am a lister.
Tend to dayhike as much as possible.
My wife working for an airline is a huge benefit for a peakbagger/climber. I've been to Yosemite and Joshua Tree each many, many, times climbing.
I was first introduced to peakbagger.com by reading Dennis Poulin's summit register sign-in(s).
