22. Part-time orographer; mountain and physical geography enthusiast.

My projects include greatly expanding the site's coverage of Greenland and obscure areas of Asia (Tian Shan, Pamirs, Hengduan Mountains). In the past I have spent much time working on adding Australian peaks, including the 2000ers, the Abels and more. I have a particular interest in esoteric mountains around the globe.

For the most part, I am involved in keeping the information on Australian mountains correct and up-to-date.

I recently digitised the expansive Exploration history and place names of northern East Greenland. Comprehensive coverage of thousands of landforms can now be viewed here. It should be noted that it currently has a variety of errors from the digitisation process and thus information should be cross-checked with the original document. It is recommended to be used for correct naming; elevation values are best used from the ALOS DEM or LiDAR (where of usable quality).
