The mesa of sandstone is a very recognizable feature in the Russellville Dardanelle area of Arkansas. The peak of the mesa (near the radio towers) is the State Park Highpoint and the Mountain Highpoint. The nearest highest neighbor is Spring Mountain to the west. The saddle is on the trail shown on the USGS with the col around elevation 1230 plus or minus.
