This summit is a minor sub-peak for Mont de la Galette. It boasts an impressive view though, overlooking many lakes to the west. From the summit, we can see Sépaq's Accueil Thomas-Fortin, a main entry point for Parc des Grands-Jardins. I unofficially named this peak after that view.

The key col is at a small pond just north which the topo maps place at 952m, and the summit lies above the 980m contour.
