The famous Jeepers Peak was dubbed in honor of the Fay Pullen''s chariot of choice-- the Jeep Cherokee. The combination of her driving acumen and a sturdy set of skid plates enabled us to keep peakbagging all day long and finish on this summit instead of suffering the Long Walk of Shame which a lesser vehicle would have subjected us to. We believe that the eastern bump of 3140+ with a 20'' contour interval to be slightly higher than the adjacent 3150 spot elevation. |
