List Description

This list is not complete, but does contain most of the major and well-known islands of Canada.

It is interesting to note that the small islands of coastal Britsh Columbia are often far higher than their modest land areas would predict. Also, note that the highest island in eastern Canada (excluding Nunavut) is tiny Cod Island off the coast of Labrador, with a higher elevation than the island of Newfoundland.
