List DescriptionThere are 31 States in Mexico, plus the Distrito Federal of Mexico City, for a total of 32 state equivalents. Owing to the state of mapping in Mexico, many of these peaks on this list are tentative and not particularly precise. Relatively good 1:50,000 topo maps exist for the country, but they do not always show the state lines very well.
