I have created an artificial continent out of southwestern Asia and the Caucasus, both because I don't feel that the Caucasus range really belongs in Europe the same way the Alps and Pyrennes do, and because Asia is so big it seemed benefical to break off the various miscellaneous ranges west of the greater Himalayan complex. So I'm grouping the Caucasus, Elbruz, and Zagros ranges here, plus Mt. Ararat, the various peaks of the Levant, Anatolia, and Arabia, and even the Sinai, which, although part of Egypt, is east of the Suez and thus more part of Asia.
