I climbed my first mountain in 1971 at the age of 15. Fourty plus years later, I'm still climbing peaks. I completed the Sierra Club's Hundred Peaks Section list in 1995, the Sierra Peaks Section list in 2011 and the Desert Peaks Section list in 2014. I'm currently working on the Sierra Club's Desert Peaks Section list (currently 25 ascents) for the second time, the club's Hundred Peaks Section list (currently 160+ ascents) for the second time, the club's Lower Peaks Committee list (currently 59 ascents) and the club's San Diego 100 Peaks list (currently 60 ascents). Daryn Dodge and I hope to finish the Vagamarken Sierra crest List together in the summer of 2015. In addition, I'm the editor of the Desert Peaks Section's Sage newsletter. I'm retired and live in the southern California city of Murrieta.
