Ascent Trip ReportEasy drive up HP, done in late Feb. As you come up the road, take a right at the fork when the paved road ends. To the left is a lookout tower, but it is not the HP. Take the right path about 0.2mi where you'll find the parking area. Just up the only path, there is a small sign showing the HP to the left. At the HP there is a small rock formation and a plaque set in the ground denoting that this is in fact the HP. If you're already here, i would suggest the 3 mile loop trail to Mina Sauk Falls. The trail is very rocky and quite wet/muddy in Feb, but well worth the hike, and is easily done in 1 hour.
