Ascent Trip ReportMaine CoHP triple today. Frye Mtn, Cunningham Mtn, and Whitten Hill. Road to Frye trailhead plowed to within .3? mi. no one up trail for quite a while no sign of tracks. Snowshoes needed for part, snowmobile packed rest. Views limited, could see Mt Desert and Camden Hills. Cunningham "trailhead" posted in what appears to be an effort to keep machines out. Drove south .2 mi. where not posted and whacked in thru pretty open land, found an old road, followed to a stonwewall, along wall to trail/road.
Ski and old snowmobile tracks. Followed to first clearing, across row of trees to blueberry field(highpoint)view was awesome, from Mt Washington over to Bigelow. On way back noticed a couple signs posted indicating we had been on private land, no choice but to retrace steps. Whitten Hill drove up tower access road and walked obvious high spot to the right
