Ascent Trip Report

After descending Mt. Race, I drove over to the Mt. Frissell Trailhead along Mt. Washington Rd at the MA/CT border. The trail is flat, then suddenly goes almost straight up. I didn't need to break out the crampons or ice axe, but it was a bit tricky with a full pack. After topping out on Round Mtn, I headed towards Mt. Frissell. The view on Round Mtn is much better than Frissell, which is tree-covered.
