Ascent Trip ReportDuane and I took our wives and kids on this trip, though not on the climb. We all backpacked in to the Anderson Lakes, then while the ladies and kids played around the lakes we headed up for Mt. Watson. We somehow were of the impression that the western peak was the summit, but alas we later learned that the eastern peak was supposedly higher. In early 2010, however, it was determined and agreed upon by all the experts, that the western peak is higher after all. Yahooo!!!! Picked up a Wilderness Highpoint and a Baker's Dozen summit! This was the climb that began our collaborations that have continued unabated ever since.
