Ascent of Mount Hood in 1992-05
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|

Ascent Trip ReportTwo weeks after her successful attempt on Mt. St. Helens, my wife was raring to go on Hood. She struggled through the dark hours, but when the sun came up her spirits perked up and from then on she was blessed with an iron will. Unfortunately elevation sickness symptoms hounded her, but she joyously summitted. This event effectively ended her climbing career.
