Ascent Trip ReportThis was a family attempt. We couldn't drive beyond the junction to Climbers Bivouac due to snow, so started hiking there. My wife had successfully summitted St. Helens two years earlier, and she wanted to try it again with both of our kids. Unfortunately she was not in as good of shape as she had been in 1992, so she petered out well below the summit. My daughter and son persevered, however, and successfully summited.
