Ascent Trip Reporttook nearly 3.5 hrs from South Portland to Waterville Valley due to varying road and driver skill conditions. trailhead parking entrance not plowed, tried to beat up the hill with my POS Saturn about 8 times and finally the plow guy came, start at 0850, trail became less and less packed, post-holing up to knees if off the track just a bit, shoes needed after Noon Peak, final section to the Dome looked untraveled, drifts up to 3 ft. with subsequent trail-breaking, view was awesome, kept shoes on most the way down. back to car at 1410
