Ascent Trip ReportI was with my Scout Troop that was camped at the base (east side) of Spor Mountain. I had completed a 25 mile bike ride with some of my buddies out to Fish Springs NWR and back the day before, so I figured I would get up Spor Mountain and take a look around. From the top you can see the southern end of the Great Salt Lake Desert. Looking west you can see the Deep Creek Mountains. An easy hike over old mining roads and then just cross country to the highest point.
