Ascent Trip Report

No Bigfoot , UFO sightings, or missing persons reports today from the area referred to as the Bennington Triangle.

Starting from the end of Harbor Rd.parked one tenth beyond the last house and followed FR 278 all the way to the north where it eventually connects to the West Ridge Tr. on the East side of Glastenbury West Peak at about 3080 elevation, followed Trail a short distance west to height of land on trail about 3325 then a short ten minute one way whack to the h.p.

The map from Mytopo.com did a great job of showing all the old roads in this tract and would have been tough without.

The foot of snow that fell here one week before was now down to a patchy 1"to 2" above 3000 feet
