Ascent Trip Report

This was a practice hike for an upcoming backpack, so I had a 37 pound pack- it definitely made it more challenging.

It should be noted- I guess no one wants to do Charleston Peak after Labor Day- I left the trailhead at 6:40, and there was only one other car in it, and I didn't see anyone on the trail until I was almost back to the top of Trail Canyon other than one couple returning from the summit when I was just below it. I was on the summit for 30 minutes and had it all to myself the whole time.
