Ascent Trip ReportCompleted 11M loop with Todd. Weather was excellent, with high cyrus clouds and NO wind which is pretty unusual. Really nice views for 40-50 miles. Hined in from Livermore Trail then up and down North and South slide trails. This was the most technical hike so far in the Whites because of the North Slide. Wasn't rally hard, but you needed to pay attention due to the 45-60 degree pitches. Some ice spots also made it a bit tricky. Once on top the hike was nice over North, Middle, and South peaks with good vista and a very unique mossy area on North side of South peak. Also some larger and older pines between peaks which was unusual. The hike in was very moderate and there's a really nice stand of birch just off the South Slide trail on way back to junction with Livermore trail.
