Ascent of Margery Hill on 2011-05-18| Other People: | Solo Ascent
| | Date: | Wednesday, May 18, 2011 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Margery Hill | | Location: | UK-England | | Elevation: | 545 m / 1791 ft |
Ascent Trip ReportI first climbed this in the 1980s when it was erroneously thought to be the highpoint of the now defunct County of South Yorkshire. For completeness I have now repeated it and also summited the 4 metre higher Howden Edge (High Stones) which is the true highpoint of the newer Sheffield Unitary Authority.
