Ascent Trip ReportThis was a Las Vegas Mountaineers Club hike up the east side from Pine Nut Camp. This route is supposed to be less scenic than the routes from the west side, but with less of an elevation gain.
The route was straightforward (thanks to GPS), and not too challenging (only class 2), though the bushwhacking got tough in places.
The view from the summit was great with views of Las Vegas, Lake Mead, and many surrounding mountains.
