Summited via the Northeast Face.

This was the route we took at the beginning of the climb up through the red band section on our way up the northeast face route of middle palisade. This was the only 4th class section we encountered. We climbed about 2/3 of the way up on the darker granite as it seemed less loose than the white rock in the chute. We then hugged the right wall of the chute, again, using the more solid dark granite on the right side. The whole area has plenty of loose rock! (2017-07-21). Photo by Jaeson Greer.
