Ascent Trip ReportNote: the park service lists this peak as Craggy Knob and at elevation 5526. I am not going to create another location on top of this location so i will use the added peak by others in the database. Note that the USGS map calls the mountain, Great Craggy Mountain, so there appears to be several synonyms for the same feature near Craggy Pinnacle. This feature does not have a trail to the top. There is a picnic pavillion trail from the visitor center and then a grassy meadow above (with scant Rhododendrons) but to achieve the top it is a bushwhack (at least the only way i found it). The Pinnacle has much better views although the shelter has a nice view of the valley below.
