Ascent Trip Report

This is the peak on the other side of the saddle as you head to the true peak in Dinosaur Ridge. I have eyeballed it every time I do the ridge but had never done it before as it thought it was not even a 100 foot prominence peak but as it turns out it has over 100 feet. But more importantly it has cool views of Mount Morrison and the red rocks area. And there were some fun extra credit ledges to climb around on so I kept hiking the ridge and then descended down to check out the dinosaur tracks and bones then found the brand new trail heading to Bandimere Ridge so ended up having about an 8 mile round trip excursion touching all of the hogback ridge peaks in the area including this one.
