Ascent Trip Report

Started up from saddle through light brown messy scree, then soon picked up decent use trail (cairned) angling up and right, across the whole north face. Helped a lot. My west-most track worked best. Nice use trail bypassing the white false summit, west side.
As others have reported, the switchbacks above the trailhead have been obliterated. Going down into the creekbed was no fun either. Could starting about due east to angle across the creek, and through gaps between the outcrops/rocks down low and the tree clusters higher up? Can't remember, but that's probably too steep to sidehill. Could it be cleaner to just start up halfway back down the road and gain the crest before the trees? Maybe someone else can try to find a better way.
Additional reports on Toiyabe Peak 11061 (Archie) and Toiyabe Peak 11038 (Edith) for breakdowns on the traverse.
I didn't get a chance to try a decent sheep trail cutting across the west slope of 11038 at 10300-10400msl, and make this easier from my start, without a car shuttle.
