Ascent Trip ReportBegan climb at the small village of Kato Lousi. The village was very rustic with the majority of the house made from stone. I started off following the E4 trail which was supposed to take me directly to the Refuge which is sitting at about 2000 meters. Unfortunately, I lost the trail but then picked up the Red trail which I then also lost. I ended up climbing straight up a 45 degree slope of talus, dirt and trees. It was tiring. Eventually I reached the dirt road that traverses near the top. The refuge is really a ski lodge for the ski area which drops down the other side. The refuge was closed and in disrepair. From the refuge it was another hour to the summit (Psili Korifi). Looking at the map I was a bit confused and wasn't sure if I climbed the true summit. So I climbed the peak that was next to Psili Korifi just to make sure and it was lower. I then took the green trail down.
