Ascent Trip Report

With Jason Park, Sunny Yi, Susan Kang. Lodgepole campground - Twin Lakes trail - Silliman Creek - slabs to Silliman lake - summit. Plenty of wet snow above 10,000', but easily navigated without spikes or crampons via class 2 terrain and minimal snow travel. Coming down the slabs with Silliman Creek running full of water required some care. 10h round trip at a moderate pace, enjoying everything on offer - wildflowers, cascades, waterfalls, rock slabs, semi frozen lakes, snow patches, and summit views that rivalled any other peak I have been to. Gorgeous day, gorgeous weekend. Photos:
