Ascent Trip Report

Parked at lot for Baldwin Lake Ecological Reserve and followed Gold Mountain Road until it ended. Could not find a use trail to Pacific Crest Trail, so scrambled up to reach Forest Road 3N69 on south side of peak. Followed road to summit. Could not find register.

For decent followed 3N69 down from north side of peak, but missed PCT crossing. Had to backtrack some and followed PCT down. At the PCT switchback hairpin at 7400 feet, could not find use trail down to Gold Mountain Road so scrambled down slope to road and followed road back to parking lot.
