Ascent Trip Report

There now is a blue ammo box register on top. Took cross-country route up from the ski area, saw three wild horses, and the steep loose narrow chute went all the way up to the North Loop trail. However I hadn't started until the afternoon, so reached the summit at 5pm and decided to return via the trail back to Trail Canyon reaching the TH at 8pm by headlamp, and hitch-hike back to the car in the dark.
