Ascent Trip ReportSkiied/snowshoed into Roaring Brook from Abol Bridge, dreary day rain/freezing rain, standing water in sleds. Wood stove and 80 deg fixed all that. Up to Chimney Pond next day, weather better, summitted next day that started perfect at -5 deg light wind then deteriorated into full conditions as we topped out. 0-100yds visibility, snow and 40-50 mph winds. wearing everything but the down sweater! weather poor rest of stay until last day when it was sunny and 10 deg. Mark and I shoed thru new snow to the saddle.
