Ascent Trip ReportShort moderate hike, not good for views.
The TH is on the BRP Mile 451.2, at the hairpin curve entrance to the Waterrock Knob Information Center (this is south of Soco Gap and West of Waynesville).
At the hairpin curve, look southwest across the Parkway and about 100 feet to the right there is a hole in the foliage under a leaning tree. This is the TH (unmarked).
It is a moderate hike over a bump on the way to the Yellow Face summit ..... a large clearing full of rasberry bushes, good luck in finding the exact spot.
