Ascent Trip Report

Clearly the easiest summit registered on this site (except for maybe the Vatican highpoint...). Karin and I were shopping in Gällstad - the "outlet village" - and suddenly realized that we were quite close to the highest point of Västergötland. We had to ask around to find the right dirt road leading to Galtåsen, but once we had left the car it was just a five-minute-walk to the summit. No view whatsoever, but a Swedish flag and a sign informing the visitors of the altitude!
