Ascent Trip ReportAs opposed to attempt the day before, the weather couldn't have been better for hiking. Met a nice young couple from Houston, Raj and Erica and walked with them for about a mile before parting company.
What wasn't so apparent in the fog the day before was a little more obvious on a clear day. Outside of the altitude, the hike itself wasn't all that strenuous. Took my time going up but tore it up on the way down, including jogging the last mile. The peak doesn't have the commanding presence of a Mt. Whitney, but the views are very beautiful. This hike makes a great day trip.
Up and back within 7 hours including about 25 minutes on top.
