Ascent Trip ReportBegan on a clear sky, cool day, but the sky got cloudy and hazy when we finally made it to the top. We got incredible views of Mono Lake and the surrounding peaks nevertheless. After the mid-way plateau, we took the right (east) side trail. It was difficult to find the trail and the inukshuks people left behind; you simply have to climb your way through the rumble. We crossed as many coyotes as people (5) on the trail that day. Total ascent time: 4 hours. Total descent time: 3 hours (but with MANY photo and food breaks).
