Ascent Trip ReportThis was a good hike. Parked in the Pumice Desert and hiked the PCT towards Timber Crater. When I got close, I left the trail and headed up the timbered slope. On the way down I walked up behind a bull elk. I got within about 100 ft of him before he moved off. Nice 3 point.
