Ascent Trip Report

This was the second and easiest of the three small peaks we bagged on this day.
It felt like taking a step back in time as we walked across the campus of Cal State San Bernardino to the road leading up to and past the Murillo Family Observatory. Directly across from the second reservoir, referred to as North Badger Basin on some maps, we located a narrow path that headed up the north slope to the summit of this small hill that overlooks the campus.
Our return trip took us down a steep trail that brought us to the parking area adjacent to the observatory and from there we simply retraced our steps back to our vehicle.
