Ascent Trip ReportA touch of rain on Friday then clear the rest of the weekend. Hiked in to moraine near Diller Lake (3hr. 30 min). Saturday, snow practice at 8:30 -9:30 then started on the glacier at around 10:00. Eight crevasses had opened up. We hiked up between them and then just below the bergschrund for about 200 feet. the berg was about twenty feet across and twenty to forty feet deep. Great scramble up to the summit.
TIP: stay on the ridge both up and down as there a very large rocks dislodged by climbers. Resist the urge to drop down the scree slopes!
