Ascent Trip ReportBrutal assault from the Carson Valley. Dropped off at the mouth of Fay Canyon and followed the pack trail. At the end of the trail the only way was up, up, and up some more on the southeast face. Sand and loose rock made it 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Stepping on the vegetation was best for solid grip. Recommend only if you're young and stupid like I was then and/or you want a good story to tell.
