Ascent Trip ReportVia Mountaineers Route -- with guide Kurt Wedberg and 3 others. We hiked up to a little lake at the bottom of the steep part of this route and tented out overnight. The next day we started early -- before others started so there wouldn't be anyone possibly sending rocks down on us from the routes above. We went up into a notch, then climbed up a steep ridge to the summit, which is surprisingly broad and flat. Our plan had been to stay at our campsite overnight, but we decided to hike out that day -- and arrived back well before dark.
