Ascent Trip Report

Very poor visibility for entire climb (see weather), but we broke through the clouds just below the crater rim. The sudden change in visibility (and view down into the crater) made for one of the most dramatic change in views I've ever experienced. The climb up was the only time I've ever seen horizontal icicles (up to 6").
