Ascent Trip Report

The high point is technically on reserve land (CTK), but the road is slightly higher than the surrounding plateau and the survey stake is truly buried in the grasses, so it's kinda a coin toss as to where the point truly is.

MY advise is to approach from the Alberta side, turn off of Hwy 41 S onto Hwy 889 E, which is a fairly nice gravel road with some sharp 90's.

If you come from the Saskatchewan side you should get permission to go onto the reserve. It's also a really rough road, 4x4 and hot weather is recommended.

The road gets within about 50m-75m north of the high point, which is about 500m short of the texas gate onto the reserve. As long as you stay on the road your not trespassing, but you can hop the barbed wire at your risk.

The weather was great, over +25C and sunny. Not a cloud in the sky so we could see forever.
