Ascent Trip ReportWe hiked in the Gale River and Twin Brook trails to 13 Falls tentsite and dropped some gear there. We decided to tackle Owl's Head from the north as a bushwhack up the north side of the ridge from the Lincoln Brook Trail. Not the easiest bushwhack we've ever done, but not the worst either. We did slightly different routes up and back but both had a nice mix of open forest, moose paths, horrible hobblebush, rotten rotten blowdowns, dense patches of little spruce trees and goopy mudpits. The top 100 feet or so of the summit ridge is particularly nasty. An entertaining way to get to a summit.
