Ascent of Mont Carmel on 2009-08-21
|Date:||Friday, August 21, 2009|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||338 m / 1112 ft|
Ascent Trip ReportI think this summit is more properly known as Mont Bel-Air. The 'borne geodesique' and probable natural ground high point is just outside the east end of the interesting octagonal 19th century chapel of Notre Dame du Mont Carmel in the village of Mont Bel-Air. The ascent is a trivial 30 metres or so horizontal walk from the adjacent road.
